Ivany (Earthquake) Block

Ivany hollow concrete masonry units designed for reinforced grouted masonry construction. Manufactured to meet ASTM C-90 and C-140 specifications.

Built for reinforced, high-strength wall construction. Each Ivany block features a unique configuration that accommodates vertical and horizontal rebar placement, making them ideal for structural walls requiring superior load-bearing or shear performance (eg high seismic zones/earthquakes).

Uses: Load bearing walls, stairwells, high-wind zone structures

Nominal Dimensions are Depth x Width x Length (in.)

Actual dimensions (height and width) are minus 3/8″ less to allow for mortar.
